Lynn - Everett "Zeek" Barker, age 73, passed away on November 23, 2025 at Mass General Hospital in Boston, MA.
He was born in Peabody, MA and was a lifelong resident of Lynn, MA.
Everett leaves his wife, Christine (Christie) Barker, of 50 years who was the love of his life. He was the son of the late Ellen Jemery.
Everett was VP of local 1834 and member of local 201 AFL /C10 and Member of the Franco American and Lynn Fishing Game. He worked at GE, Lynn Plastics and Jasco Aluminum and Glenmere Hub & Die.
He enjoyed fishing and loved movies. He graduated from Lynn Classical High School in 1972. His best years were 1969 to 1972. He had a lot of friends . . . and I mean a lot. Everett was well loved by everyone he knew and he loved them just as much. What is a person without friends! He will miss them all!
He is survived by his brothers George Jemery, Eddie Jemery and his wife Linda Jemery and his brother, the late Daniel Jemery's wife, Paula Jemery, his sister Helene Sychampanakhone and her husband Sabone, his nephew Brady and nieces Brittany, Brandy and Savana. He is also survived by his sister-in-laws, Linda Wiggin, Ruth Mary Davis and Jerilyn Sims, brother-in-laws, Ivan and Jamie Christie and many other nieces and nephews. Everett was the brother of the late Dennis Jemery and Ruth Peterson and brother-in-law to the late Carol Jemery, Charlene Christie, Edward (Skeeter) Wiggin and Herbi Davis, Sr., and uncle to his late nephews Timothy Wiggin and Wayne Jemery, Jr.
Service Information: Calling Hours for Everett will be held in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street, Lynn, on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
