Former GE employeeSALEM - Mr. Frank N. Clark, 91, of Salem, beloved husband of June (Wells) Clark, died Tuesday, June 18, 2013 surrounded by his family.Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Elmer L. Clark and Helen E. (Knight) (Clark) Smith. He was raised and educated in Lynn, and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School and Northeastern University.A veteran, of the United States Navy during World War II.Mr. Clark was employed for 45 years with the General Electric Company, Measurements Department, West Lynn.Mr. Clark was a member of the William Sutton Lodge A.F. & A.M. of Saugus, the Scottish Rite Bodies in the Valley of Boston and a Legion of Honor member of the Allepo Shriners of Wilmington.In addition to his loving wife of 70 years, Frank is survived by his son, Frank N. Clark Jr. and his wife Trina of Nashua, N.H.; his grandchildren, Christopher Clark, Jennifer Hamblett and her husband David, Jonathan Clark, Emily Clark, Benjamin Clark of Nashua, N.H. and Amanda Clark of Portland, Maine. His eight great grandchildren; his sisters, Barbara Townsend of Brentwood, N.H. and Arlene Deutsch of Seminole, Fla., and several nieces and nephews.Service information: His funeral will be held from The O'DONNELL Funeral Home, 46 Washington Square (at Salem Common), Salem, Monday, June 24 at 9:15 a.m., followed by his funeral Mass in St. James Church, Federal Street, Salem at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Lynn. Visiting hours Sunday, June 23 from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Frank's memory to the Shriners Hospital Transportation Fund, c/o Alleppo Shriners, 99 Fordham Road, Wilmington, MA 01887.
