Greg Paul Tremblay

LYNN - Greg P. Tremblay, age 38, died unexpectedly on Friday, March 6, 2015. He was the husband of Erin M. (Hurley) Tremblay, with whom he shared 19 years of marriage.He was born and raised in Lynn, he was the son of Paul and Helen (Wong) Tremblay of Saugus.Greg worked as an elevator constructor out of Union Local 4, Boston.He loved cars and mechanics and was an avid car racer at New England Dragway. Greg also enjoyed everything about the ocean, including boats, fishing, jet skis, and deep-sea diving. Greg also loved to cook.In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by four children, Briana, Devin and his wife Mary, Brendan Tremblay and Julia McManus; a grandson, Cameron Tremblay; a sister, Tina Hutchins; two nephews, Brad and Nick; his father in-law and mother in-law, John and Diane Hurley; his brother in-law and sister in-law, Sean and Lauren Hurley; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.Service information: His funeral will be held on Friday, March 13, at 9:30 a.m. at SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Route 129), Lynn, followed be a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Church. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.Visting hours are Thursday, March 12, from 4 p.m.-8 p.m.
