Lynnfield - Haralampos "Bob" Sidiropoulos, age 67, of Lynnfield, passed away on September 5th, 2024 while in Veria, Greece. He was the husband of Pipina Sidiropoulos, with whom he shared 35 years of marriage. Born in Veria, Greece, he was the son of Evlambia Sidiropoulos of Lynnfield, and the late Konstantinos Sidiropoulos. He came to the United States in 1972 at the age of 15 and has lived in Lynnfield since 1978.
Haralampos was a hardworking man who started working at a very young age. When he came to the United States, he began working as a mechanic. At the age of 17, he opened his first gas station. In the years to come, he began building and operating dozens more gas stations, venturing into his career in Real Estate development.
He spent his free time at home with his family. He loved fixing anything that was broken. He kept his home open to everyone who needed his help. He enjoyed helping friends, family, and anyone he met. He will be forever remembered by all the people whose lives he has changed. He had a special love for his daughters and was part of everything they did. He made sure to always share his wisdom and strength to prepare his daughters for anything that comes their way. He was the leader of his family, and his life goal was to provide and spend time with his loved ones. He loved everything being done right the first time. He had a passion for spending quality time with his family, going on long drives, and visiting his gas stations. He has left his mark for generations to come.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughters; Evelyn, Kristina, and Anna Sidiropoulos, all of Lynnfield; his brother, Vasilios Sideropoulos of Lynnfield, his sister; Ekaterini Goutzamanidis and her husband Vasilios of Lynnfield; as well as his nieces and nephews; Vasilios G. Goutzamanidis, Georgia Mandoulidis and her husband Peter, Evelynn Sidiropoulos, Kosta Sidiropoulos, Alex Sidiropoulos, and Andrea Apostolou; and his grand-nieces and nephew; Panayiota, Vasiliki, Artemis and Dimitrios Mandoulidis.
Service Information: His funeral was held on Monday from the SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Rt 129), Lynn, followed by a funeral service in St Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, Peabody.
