James Doyle Obituary

Retired machinist, avid Red Sox fanPEABODY-James E. Doyle, age 84, formerly of Lynn, died Friday January 29 in Peabody. Born in Lynn on February 10, 1925 he was the son of the late Arthur & Alice (White) Doyle. Mr. Doyle was a graduate of Saint Mary's Boys High School of Lynn and later went on to work for the John Hassell Company of Long Island, NY where he was employed as a machinist from where he retired in 1987. Mr. Doyle was an avid Red Sox fan and was a devoted family man dedicating his life to his wife , children and grandchildren.Mr. Doyle is survived by his wife of 57 years Barbara L. (Vienneau). His four sons, Thomas F. Doyle of Dorchester, Timothy J. Doyle & his wife Monica of Hyde Park, NY, Richard G. Doyle & his wife Jessica and Paul L. Doyle & his wife Stacey all of Manchester, CT and his daughter Patricia A. Allen of Lynn.He was the brother of Martin Doyle & his wife Barbara of Melrose, Ellen Immar of Rockland, Anna Dart of CA, Rita Monoogian of Danvers, Margaret Kane & Joan Magner of Lynn and the late Herbert & Thomas Doyle and Agnes Doucette and Marion Zera.He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Paul, Rachel, Jennifer, Raymond, Caroline, Andrew, Brian, Kevin, Anthony, Angela, Grace & Sophia and great granddaughter Allison.Service Information: His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield Thursday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Florence Church 47 Butler Ave. Wakefield at 10:00. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday 4-8 p.m.
