Jane Teal Obituary
1953 - 2025
North Fort Myers, FL - Jane F. Teal of North Fort Myers, FL formally of Lynn passed away on 10/10/25 after a 25 year battle with MS and a 5 year battle with lung cancer. Jane was a 1971 graduate of Lynn English High School, a former member of the Lynn City Council representing Ward 1 and was the General Manager for 30 years of Rolly's Restaurant which was founded by her late parents Roland and Patricia Dupuis. She leaves her husband Paul of 54 years, sister Cindy Kennison and her husband Doug, sister-in-law Doreen Dupuis, wife of her late brother Roland Jr, several nieces and nephews and her friend Ashley Davis. Jane was always proud of the support she received from the Lynn Fire Department during her tenure on the City Council. She loved the four dogs she owned during her lifetime, Shadow, Sneakers, Fenway and Oliver. She was very patriotic and always stood for the National Anthem and was deeply saddened by the events of 9/11. Services will be private and the family requests any donations be made in her honor to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation

I remember working with Jane in 1970 in Essex County Bank bookkeeping center and attending her wedding in 1971.

I had the pleasure of serving with Jane on The Lynn City Council. I saw first hand how dedicated she was to her beloved Ward 1 as well as her commitment to the entire city. My sincere condolences to the entire Teal family. May Jane rest in peace.

So many memories. Mostly good some sad but us Rollys/ Golden Circle ladies we always had one another´s back. Janie was very special for a thousand reasons but her kindness and loyalty is what I will always remember her for. Paul I am so sorry for your loss,I can´t even fathom the pain you are feeling. Janie Teal...the quintessential representative of Ward One..and the City of Lynn. I hand many conversations with Janie about the politics in Lynn...not too much got by her. She supported me during my quest for School Committee. Janie made Rollie´s the place to go for breakfast on any morning. My condolences to Janie `s family. Godspeed, Janie ...and, rest easy.

When they closed Rolly´s it was a sad day.

So sorry Paul & family to hear of Janie´s passing. To many of our old Golden Circle "gang" have left this earth. Memories of all the fun times we had make me smile and grateful I was part of them.
I am assuming there is a cocktail lounge up there and the good times continue and those who passed before were there to greet Janie
