Lynn - Judith (Judie) Ann Jones passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025, after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Michael P. Jones and the daughter of Ralph T. and Doris (Roy) Melanson. A cherished mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother whose warmth and strength touched the lives of all that knew her.
Judie attended Lynn Public Schools. In her younger years, she enjoyed Saturday night dances at the Lynn YMCA. She volunteered at My Brothers Table for 15 years and was an active member at Saint Stephen's Memorial Episcopal Church.
Judie was the loving sister of Elizabeth "Betty Ann" (Melanson) Burk. Devoted mother of John P. Kossivas and Jill (Kossivas) Palumbo. Grandmother of Tommy and Jonathan Sisson, John and Nicholas Kossivas, and Casey and Jodi Palumbo. Great grandmother of Nathan and Matthew Sisson and Wesley Kossivas. She was the aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Judie was predeceased by her cherished daughter Jodi (Kossivas) Sisson and brother Ronald Melanson.
Service Information: Family and friends are invited to attend a wake on Sunday, September 28 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Cuffe McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 29 at 10:00 AM in Saint Stephen's Memorial Episcopal Church followed by burial in St. Jeans Cemetery.
