Saugus - Mrs. Lucille C. (Martinelle) DesLoges, of Burlington formerly of Saugus, died on Tuesday, December 28, at Bear Mountain at Andover nursing facility. She was the wife of Arthur C. DesLoges with whom she shared seventy-four years of marriage.

Born in Everett, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Louise Martinelle. She was a homemaker and a former member of the Ladies Sodality of St. Margaret's Church in Saugus. She worked at Saugus High School for more than 20 years in the Guidance and Principal's office. There, she often helped students overcome the day-to day challenges of a High School. Former students would often stop her on the street and thank her for her kindness. Mom's was always the "go to" destination for holidays where she prepared special family recipes that the whole family enjoyed. Mom, you will be deeply missed.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children; Arthur Desloges of Plymouth, John DesLoges and his wife Beatrice of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, Ann DesLoges , and daughter-in-law Diane DesLoges, grandchildren; JohnDavid, Andrew, Cristina, Juan, Ryan, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She leaves a brother Phillip, and two predeceased sisters, Irene, and Dorothy. Mrs. DesLoges was predeceased by her son Stephen, daughter in law Rita, and grandson Thomas.

Service Information: Relatives & friends are invited to attend an hour of visitation in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., Saugus on Thursday, January 6th from 9 – 10 a.m. It will be followed by a funeral mass in Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Summer Street, SAUGUS, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. AT THE REQUEST OF THE FAMILY MASKS ARE REQUIRED. For directions & condolences
