Mary V. Cennami

LYNN - Mrs. Mary V. (Fiore) Cennami, age 98, of Lynn, died on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, at the Lifecare Center, Lynn, after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Salvatore Cennami.Born in Lynn and raised in Swampscott, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Maria (Storti) Fiore. She attended Swampscott High School and had lived in Lynn for the majority of her life.Many years ago, Mary was a shoe worker at Benson Shoe and Duchess Footwear.She was a member of the Roma Riunite Lodge of the Sons of Italy in America and a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church. She enjoyed playing bingo and crocheting.Mary is survived by two children, Paul Cennami and his wife Kathy, of Lakeville, and Joanne Ellis and her husband Frank, of Raymond, N.H.; two sisters, Rose Connors, of Lynn and Josephine Dowling, of Seabrook, N.H.; 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Anthony, George, Nicholas and Nancy Fiore.Service information: Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9 a.m. from the SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOME, 67 Ocean St. (Route 1A), Lynn, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, Swampscott.
