Peggy Perry Obituary

LANCASTER, S.C. - Peggy Louise Allen Perry, 86, of Lancaster, S.C., affectionately known as "Granny," passed away on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, at her residence.
Peggy was born on Tuesday, July 11, 1939, in Pleasant Hill, Arkansas, to the late Willie Leroy and Virgie Mae Roe Allen. Throughout her life, she has consistently been recognized for her kind and loving nature. She would open her home to or help anyone in need without hesitation. She was full of life, and her personality was unmatched.
She was known to everyone as Granny; everyone was family in her eyes, and she loved everyone unconditionally. A woman of strong faith, she made sure her family knew the Lord and made it her mission to live a Christian life. A loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished friend to many, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Donna Eitson, Virginia Sherman (Cedric), Jeff Sherman Jr. (Janet), Cecilio Hernandez (Yoli), Timothy Ford (Gloria) and Kenneth Ray Perry (Ada Krychele); grandchildren, Robert Sherman Sr., Michael Sherman, Joey Sliepka, Angela Rice, Amy Berryman, Cassie Riddle, Kerry Ford, Joshua Ford, Kasey Jackson, Nicole Moore and Kayleigh Perry; also left to cherish her memory are numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
In accordance with Peggy's wishes, no formal services will be held at this time. Instead, she asked that friends and family remember her for the person she was, and to reflect back on the precious memories shared.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of Agape Care Hospice, especially her nurse, Laura, for the phenomenal and truly compassionate care she provided to Granny in her last days.
Arrangements are under the direction of A Simple Service Burial & Cremation – Lancaster, S.C.
