Lynnfield - Nicholas D. Raftopoulos, age 91 years, passed away Wednesday morning, December 3, 2025.
He was a devoted husband and family-man.
Nicholas Raftopoulos was married to Paula (Kallis) Raftopoulos with whom he spent 57 years of happy marriage until her death in 2023. He was the son of the late Dionysios and Nika Raftopoulos, and son-in-law of the late Peter and Mary Kallis. He leaves two sons and a daughter in-law, Dean Raftopoulos and his wife Holly of Kittery Maine and Peter Raftopoulos of Arlington Massachusetts. He also leaves four grandchildren, Nikolos, Jerry, Eve and Marielle, as well as 3 step-grandchildren, Meghan, Nola and Matthew. He was predeceased by one sister, the late Anna Genakakis.
Nicholas was born in Salem, MA and attended Salem High School. He went on to earn degrees at the University of New Hampshire and Northeastern University where he majored in engineering.
He then married Paula and moved to Beverly MA for 13 years to start a family. Nicholas worked as an engineer in manufacturing company during his 35-year career while at that time Paula stayed at home to raise their two sons. They then moved to and remained in Lynnfield, MA.
