Patricia A. Scanlon, 90

1932 - 2023

Lynn, MA - Patricia A. (Dunn) Scanlon, age 90, of Lynn, entered into rest on Friday, May 12, 2023, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving and devoted wife of the late John J. "Jack" Scanlon (Ret. LFD), with whom she shared 64 years of marriage and predeceased her in March of 2021. Born in Wellesley and raised in Newton, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Mary Christina (Allen) Dunn. She graduated from Newton High School in 1950 and has lived in Lynn since 1957. Pat worked as a bank teller at First Colonial and later Eastern Bank before her retirement. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Mary's Church, enjoyed dancing and traveling and spent many winters with her husband at their homes in St. Petersburg, FL and St. Augustine, FL. Pat and John treasured their family and friends and loved entertaining them in their home.

Pat is survived by her loving daughter Joan Lawrence and her husband Timothy (Ret. LFD) of Lynn; her grandsons, John Lawrence of Topsfield, Michael Lawrence and his wife Sarrie of Salisbury and Timothy Lawrence, Jr. and his wife Brittany of Swampscott; her 9 great-grandchildren, Camron, Orion, Alexa, Bailee, Braydon, Noah, Kathryn, Timothy "TJ" and Makinley, and her many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her granddaughters Elizabeth Ann and Kathleen Ann Lawrence and her siblings Richard, John and Mary "Mamie" Dunn.

Service Information: A Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Mary Church, Lynn and burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Arrangements entrusted to SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOME, LYNN.
