Retired GE machinistPEABODY - Mr. Patrick Mayr, 71 years, died on Monday, June 18th at the North Shore Medical Center - Salem Hospital in Salem. He was the husband of the late Barbara (Leeman) Mayr who died on March 6, 2012.Born in Melrose and raised in Saugus, he was the son of the late Michael and Frances (Dello Iacono) Mayr. A graduate of Saugus High School, Mr. Mayr worked as a machinist at General Electric and retired from there with over 40 years of service. He had lived in Peabody for many years.Mr. Mayr leaves one brother, Michael Mayr and his wife Carol of Saugus; one sister, Katherina Brittin and her husband Jim of FL. He was also predeceased by his daughter Michelle Janet Mayr and his brother Robert Mayr.Service Information: A private graveside service was held on Friday, June 22nd at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.
