Phyllis C. Wisenburn

MARBLEHEAD - Mrs. Phyllis C. Wisenburn, age 74 years, of Marblehead, MA and East Wakefield, NH, died unexpectedly Wednesday at Mass General Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Kenneth W. Wisenburn, with whom she would have celebrated 50 years of marriage on August 24, 2013.Born in Lynn she was the daughter of the late Charles R. and Beatrice B. (Boyd) Copeland. A lifelong resident of Marblehead, she graduated from Marblehead High School, Class of 1957. Mrs. Wisenburn received a Bachelor's Degree from Framingham State University, Class of 1961. She was employed as a registered dietician at Mass General Hospital, Newton Wellesley Hospital, and Lynn Hospital for several years. Phyllis was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lynn, where she taught Sunday School Kindergarten for many years.She enjoyed crafts, gardening, NASCAR Racing, and going for rides in their convertible. She was an avid Bruins fan. She also enjoyed spending summers at her camp on Balch Lake in East Wakefield, NH.In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters, Glenda L. and her husband Mark Burke of Brookfield, NH; Lee A. Wisenburn of Winthrop; one son, Bruce A. and his wife Ruth Wisenburn of S. Abington, PA; one sister, Shirley I. Copeland of Holyoke; three grandchildren, Ariana, Isabella, and Andres Wisenburn, all of S. Abington, PA; and several nieces and nephews.Service Information: Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church, Lynn on Monday at 11:00 a.m., to which relatives and friends are invited to attend.
