1938 - 2022

Lynn - On Saturday January 8, 2022 Robert "Butch" Bianchi Sr. Owner of Bianchis Pizza a Revere Beach landmark, passed away at the age of 83 due to a combination of Pancreatic Cancer & complications of Covid. He is survived by his wife Carolyn & his 3 sons Robert Jr, Joseph & Derek, as well as 2 granddaughters Jada & Jianna. Robert was the son of the late John & Nora Bianchi of Revere & brother to the late Lorrey, Rocco, Roland (Pat),Albert, Salvatore, Anthony, George, Joseph & sister Violet. He is survived by a sister Arlene Digregorio of Revere & brother John Bianchi of New Hampshire as well as many nieces & nephews. A Visitation will be held at the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St., Revere on Monday, January 17, 2021 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. A Prayer Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 11:00am. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery in Lynn.

I think of the years I spent at Bianchi´s with Butchie almost every day. He was one of the most genuine people I have ever met. Not a mean bone in his body. Helped everyone. I´m sorry that I missed the services due to my own illness. I would´ve really liked to say goodbye.

Hello Bianchi family it's (spider),I just wanna say I am very very sorry for your loss ,I was 15yrs old came by met Bobby Jr and buthchie they gave me my 1st job I was there for 7yrs and grew into there family I have so many good memories because of you all Bobby Joe butchie popp ,sugar you guys treated me like family I was the 1st outsider to come in it was all bianchis and I just wanna say thank you so very much, I'd love to talk to the family,thank you..

To the Bianchi Family,
I struggled with the loss of every Bianchi because of how your family treated me and my family. My mother and Her brothers knew all of you well and cherished the friendship over the many many years dating back to the opening of your original pizza stand. My mother was always treated so well by everyone and so was I. From the time I was a teenager and Butchie gave me a chance when his brother Anthony said "who is this kid? Does he know how to make a pizza?" And Butchie said "he´s a good kid and I will teach him." The Bianchi family has touched so many people with their kindness & love. Butchie´s son Bobby Jr is a chip off the old block with his business sense and his kindness towards everyone he meets. Bobby jr. Please call me if there is anything I can do for you or your family. Anyone who knew your father was a lucky person. His dry humor but such an amazing businessman. I am so sorry for your loss. You are all in my prayers.

I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Robert Bianchi Sr. I went to Bianchi since I was very young with my family. It was the best pizza. Thank you so much for great food and wonderful memories at Revere Beach. Always go back to Revere to eat the best food and people. Pauline Duffy
