Walter Wigfall

Longtime Lynn resident, construction workerLYNN - Walter Samuel Wigfall, "Big Walt," age 69, died suddenly following cardiac arrest on November 8, 2010. He was the husband of Georgeanne " Tracey" (Montgomery) Wigfall. Born and raised in South Carolina, he relocated to Lynn at the age of 17, and has been a Lynn resident since.Mr. Wigfall worked in construction and was a member of the Local 22 Labor Union for 35 years.He was a very spiritual man and spent much time reading and studying the Bible. He lived by "The Golden Rule" and actively contributed to organizations such as "Feed the Children" and other charities.In addition to his wife, he leaves seven children, Tony Wigfall, Brett Wigfall and "Little" Walter Wigfall all of Lynn, Lisa Wigfall of Peabody, Jane Wigfall, Paul Wigfall and Sherry Wigfall all of Georgia and seven gra-ndchildren, Justin, Kayla, Jalen, Tiarra, Jordan, "Little" Brett and Tyla. He was the brother of Grace Wigfall and Bobby Wigfall of Lynn, Danny Wigfall of Connecticut and Donny Wigfall of Saugus.Service Information: Visiting hours will be held at the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn on Tuesday, November 16th , 5-7 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m.
