Anita Jewel Kirtley Tinkham

Anita Tinkham Anita Jewel Kirtley Tinkham, 87, beloved mother and grandmother passed away February 15, 2005 after a long illness. Born April 14, 1917 in Tacoma, Washington, she was a resident of Upland for 37 years. Mrs. Tinkham worked as a realtor in Upland for 25 years and loved travel, golf, oil painting, and gardening. She will be missed every day by her surviving family: husband, Buck, her daughters Judy (Buddy) Dorough and Stephanie (Pete) Weise, her son, Tim Kirtley of Juneau, Alaska , her grandchildren,Dennis (Joann) Yeoman, Coreen(Troy) Beebower, Tim (Janette) Heckman, Janelle (Brent) Hansen, Michael Weise, Todd and Ryan Kirtley, and seven great-grandchildren. The family would like to express their gratitude to Genesis Manor in Alta Loma for the tender care of Anita over the last few months and to VNA Hospice, Inland Counties, for their care in her last days. The family kindly suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Anita's name to St. Anthony's Catholic Church, P.O . Box 608, Upland, CA 91785, or the VNA Hospice of the Inland Counties, 6235 River Crest Dr., Ste. L, Riverside, CA 92507. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, February 19 at 9:00 am at Bellevue Memorial Park, 1240 West G Street, Ontario. Draper Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
