1945 - 2021
Charlene "Charlie" Baumann passed away peacefully on August 10, 2021 in San Bernardino, Ca. She was born to Kenneth and Frieda Shattwell on October 31, 1945, in San Bernardino, California. She always joked about being a Halloween baby. Charlie worked as a bartender for over 50 years and saw her customers as extended family. She will be remembered for her straightforwardness, honesty, and quick wit. She was highly respected by all who knew her. Charlene was preceded in passing by her youngest son, Michael Roberts. She is survived by her husband, Bill Baumann, brothers Ken Shattwell and Ron Williams, sisters Debbie Face and Tammy Hubbard, son Derrick Givens, daughter Deeann Veyveris, stepchildren Cheryl Baumann, Julie Pederson, Shelley Cutts, and Robert Baumann, 6 grandchildren, and her beloved dog, Tuffy. A celebration of life will be held at noon, September 11, at the American Legion Post 777, 194 E. 40th St., San Bernardino, CA. Interment will be private at Riverside National Cemetery.

I am so sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. I knew her from Celebrities years ago when I use to go in there frequently. I am so sorry to her family and dearest friends. May she rest in peace and God Bless all of you.
