On Monday, August 26, 2021, George Anthony Ballesteros, beloved dad, grandpa (Grandmaster of the Universe), son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away at the age of 56. George was born November 29, 1964 in Redlands, CA to Reimundo (Robert) Ballesteros and Lily (Delgado) Ballesteros. George dedicated his life to raising his son as a single father. Born and raised in Highland, he made life long friends from San Gorgonio High School and was active with the San G Alumni. He lived in Desert Hot Springs for 15 years and was very active in the community coaching football and baseball. He was a lifelong sports enthusiast and a die hard Chiefs and Angels fan. He worked for the San Bernardino Sherriff's Department, EcoLab, and several towing companies; most recently Pepe's Towing and was their FSP manager. George was preceded in death by his mother Lily, his father Robert, and brother Bruce. He is survived by his son Joshua (Ashley) Ballesteros, his grandson Jasiah, his sister Melinda (Joe) Silva, and his brothers Bobby (Jamie) Ballesteros and Martin (Arlene) Ballesteros, eight nieces and nephews, and four great nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at the Montecito Memorial Valley View Chapel at 3520 E. Washington Street, Colton, CA 92334 from 5-9 pm, rosary at 7 pm. The funeral services will be on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at St. Adelaide Church at 27457 Baseline Street, Highland, CA 92346 at 10 am with burial at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery at 11:30 am.
