To the family, my sincere condolences. When someone we love falls asleep in death ( Ecclesiastes 9: 5 & 10 ) the memories we have of them become our treasure. May those cherished memories of a life well lived and Gods promise at John 11: 24 & 25 bring a measure of comfort.

Howard was everything a person should be. He was kind, compassionate, great friend, brilliant and made the world a better place. He was a gentleman. He will be missed.

So very sad to hear of Mr. Grossman's passing. My father and I were members of San Bernardino Kiwanis for many years and have fond memories of Howard's devotion to family, friends and community. We extend our deepest sympathy to all who loved him.... Ben and Laura Gonzales

Dear Kat, Howard was a childhood and lifelong friend from the time he moved to Lakeland in the late 1940's until his passing. He sent me his last email on Jan 8, 2019; indicating he had been sick, in the hospital and was recovering at home. Howard said he would write me again when he had time. We graduated from LHS in Jun 1952 and were roommates (the first semester, in North Hall) at the U of Florida. We both started studies in pre-engineering and graduated with engineering degrees. Our paths parted when he went to TRW in Calif and I with "Honeywell Aerospace" in Clearwater, Florida, after a two year stint with the US Army in Korea. Our paths came together again when attending LHS reunions (my 1st was the 40th in 1992) and from then on we kept in touch via emails and trips to Lakeland for visits with family & classmates. Kat, I want you to know how much Howard, a dear friend, meant to me and anytime you want to write do. My wife, Geneva, of 60 years passed away in May 2018 and its a difficult adjustment losing a mate and a friend. I can relate to your feeling. My prayers are with you.
