Luis Gonzales

A resident of Rancho Cucamonga passed away January 7, 2021 in Ontario, CA. Luis was predeceased by his parents, his son Nathan Gonzales; Luis is survived by his loving wife RoseAnn Gonzales, their children Julien, Juanita, Natalie, Joseph, Gracie, and Gloria Gonzales, 15 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Luis and RoseAnn were married in Pomona May 2nd, 1964. Luis graduated from Ganesha High School in 1961. Luis was a Barber temporarily while he put himself through school to become a professional Job Agent for the State of California EDD. He held a position as Case Manager as well during his 30 years of service. Luis took pride in His community and its improvement, participating in many various committees i.e. serving on the Cucamonga School District, being appointed president during his 18 years of service, as well as the San Bernardino County Superintendent Advisory Committee on Latino Issues, all for which Luis was awarded a proclamation by the City of Rancho Cucamonga in recognition of the impact he made over the years. Luis enjoyed quality time with his family and was the most positive role model to his children and grandchildren as they grew up. Many would agree you walk away a better person having known him. Luis was a Gentleman in every sense of the word. He will be greatly missed forever. Service will be held Feb. 9th at Lada's chapel of Peace in Pomona.
