Margaret Endter Obituary
Born May 4, 1920 to Herbert & Elsie Hadde in Cleveland, OH. Attended Wittenberg University where she met the love of her life, Donald Endter. Married out of College, Donald became a Lutheran Minister establishing new churches beginning in Phoenix with Faith Luthern Church. Their first son, Paul, was born in Phoenix. Then on to Los Angeles and eventually Monterey Park establishing St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Around this time they welcome their 2nd son, David. Donald passed away at age 33 whereupon Margaret went back to school to become a Kindergarten teacher. She taught for 23 years at Eastmont Elementary School in East LA. After retirement she enjoyed traveling and being with family. She settled in Claremont and eventually resided at Mt. San Antonio Gardens. She leaves behind son Paul (Sandie), son David (Connie) and Grandchildren Brett, Brian, Seth and Lindsay. Great grandchildren William and James, Avery, Amelia, Brooks and Reagan. A fabulous Mother, Mother-in-Law, Aunt, and Grandmother, she will be missed by all. We were blessed beyond measure to have her in our lives.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Salvation Army. Memorial Service at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Claremont, 11 AM, Sat. Jan. 14th.
