Mike Wallace Obituary

Mike Wallace, 53, passed away on April 13, 2008 in Nashville, TN of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, a very rare lung disease. He was born December 27, 1954 in Corona, CA and lived in the Inland Empire for 35 years before moving to Columbia, TN in June 2007. He was a member of Pick Ups Li mited, Pomona Valley Chapter, for 27 years. He loved attending and showing his 1954 Ford F-100 truck. He loved camping and was a big NASCAR fan. He loved spending time with his family. Mike belonged to Operating Engineers Local 12 and worked for A.W. Davies Construction of Rancho Cucamonga for 18 years, taking an early retirement from the Union April 1, 2007, unfortunately not getting to enjoy retirement. Mike is survived by his wife, Vicky of Columbia, TN; daughter, Kameron Wallace of Spring Hill, TN; son, Kevin Wallace of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; brother, Danny Wallace of Oakhurst, CA. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Guinn and Carolyn Wallace and a sister, Diane Patrick. Services will be held May 3, 2008 at 2 PM at Mountain View Faith Community Church, 7986 Haven Ave., Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730. A Celebration of Mike's Life will follow services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Michael Kevin Wallace Memorial Fund at Bank of America, set up in the State of Tennessee.

Mike was a great guy who will be missed by all that knew him. I will think of him often, and will keep Vicky, Kamie & Kevin in my thoughts and prayers.
