Odell Watts Obituary

Odell Watts, age 66 passed away October 6, 2003, in Show Low, AZ. He was born and raised in Hallie, Kentucky where he graduated from high school. Odell enlisted in the Air Force after high school and served as a mechanic. After receiving an Honorable Discharge from the Air Force, Odell married Norma Bodine in 1960. Together they made their home in Buena Park, California for 36 years before moving to Show Low, AZ 4 years ago. He completed a milestone in his life four weeks ago when he was baptized. That was a great day in his life. Odell enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed being with his family at ball games and riding Dirt Bikes. He was a problem solver and loved to fix things. Odell had a great sense of humor. He loved his family and he loved his life and will be missed by all that knew him. Odell is survived by his wife, Norma Watts of Show Low; one son, Edward Watts of Bakersfield, CA; one daughter, Deborah Bailey of Ontario, CA; 3 grandsons, Mike, Tyler, Chandler, Jessica and Vanessa; five sisters, Martha, Margaret, Darlene, Sherry and Carla; and one brother, Leo. He was preceded in death by his parents, John & Lina Watts. Funeral services were held Thursday , October 9, 2003, at Owens Mortuary in Show Low, AZ. Owens Mortuary is handling arrangements.
