Ronald M. White

Ronald M. (Whitey) White, 88, of Pomona, passed away September 7, 2003 at Wood's Health Services Center, La Verne. Mr. White was b orn February 9, 1915, in Bloomville, Ohio, and came to Pomona in 1939. He was employed at Potlatch Paper company for 39 years, retiring in 1980. Mr. White was a member of the Pomona First Church of God. Surviving is his wife of 52 years, Doris Jean, son and daughter-in-law, Georgeanne and Chris Mitschka of Running Springs; daughters, Mary Trenary of Ontario and Margaret Ann Lett of Rancho Cucamonga; 7 grandchildren, Kathy Castillo, Kimberly Collins, Rodney Collins, Shannon Lett, Amber Lett, Daniel Sanchez and Margaret Mitschka; and 3 great grandchildren, Kharisa Lett, Luke Castillo, and Nick Castillo. Services will be held at the Pomona Mausoleum, Thursday at 10 a.m. Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to the Pomona First Church of God, 1233 E. Kingsley Ave., Pomona, CA 91767.
