STEVEN JOHN ALANIZ SR.

Steven John Alaniz Sr. September 3, 1959 September 10, 2009 Steven J. Alaniz Sr. entered into God's loving hands on September 10, 2009. He was born in Pomona, CA to Pete B. Alaniz and Jean Carrasco. Steven, a lifelong Pomona resident, attended Pomona schools, a high school graduate, loved his music, he loved to draw, loved the Raiders, he had a beautiful smile and laugh and was a sharp dresser. Steven was preceded in death by his father, Pete Alaniz Sr., his brother, Peter Alaniz Jr., his grandparents, Ernie Carrasco, Carmen Lobo, Nicholas Z., Cruz B. Alaniz, uncle Benny and aunt Rachel Carrasco, and nephew Anthony Alaniz. He leaves behind his loving wife Becky of 35 years, his son Steven Jr., his grandson Steven III, his nieces and nephew, who he helped raise, Riena, Desiree, Ernie and Nicole Alaniz all of Pomona. His mother, Jean (Art) Gonzales, of Stockton; his brother s and sisters, David, Alfred, Tommy (Sharon), Ernie Alaniz, all of Pomona; Richard Alaniz of Adelanto, Debra (Lucas) Martinez of Fontana, Patricia (Hector) Zamudiio of Stockton; he leaves many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, all who loved him dearly and he will truly be missed. A memorial will be at 10AM on September 21, 2009 at Southern California Dream Center, 1024 E. Phillips, Pomona, CA 91766. Burial follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
