ALBERT (BETO) PERAZA

Albert Peraza, 62, of Needles, CA passed away Friday February 21, 2014 of a long term illness.
Albert attended elementary school in Westmorland and graduated from Brawley Union High School, Class of 1969. He worked for Russel Brothers Ranch from 1969-1972 and with LIDCO from 1972-1973.
In 1974 he moved to Needles, CA to work for Russel Brothers as a ranch foreman until 1999 when he went to work for AVI KWA AME Farms to present. He was a hard worker and his employers cared deeply for him. He was an employee who rarely missed
work and took his job very seriously. In 1972 he met and fell in love with Mary Ann Ruiz of Calipatria, CA and they married on August 12, 1972.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Basilio and Serapia Herrera; his parents, Clicerio and Victoria Peraza; and brother Arthur (Turi) Peraza.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mary Ann; son, Albert Jr., and daughter Gina (Robert) Calderon of Needles, CA; his two precious grandchildren, Dionna and Christian; sister, Martha (Manuel) Garcia, of El Centro, CA; brothers, Rudy (Aurelia) Peraza, Ruben (Ermelinda) Peraza and sister-in-law Soralla Peraza of Westmorland, CA; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Albert's greatest joy was attending all the sports activities of his grandchildren and taking his son for coffee in the mornings. His hobbies were watching the Chargers football games and he loved watching NASCAR and NHRA events and attending the
annual AG EXPO in Tulare, CA. Albert will always be remembered for his beautiful smile, sense of humor, and positive outlook of life.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 28 with viewing at Arizona Funeral Home, 5902 Hwy 95, Ft. Mohave, AZ from 9 to 10 a.m. California time (10 to 11 a.m. Arizona time). Memorial Services at Needles Christian Church, 1409 Balboa St. Needles, CA from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m California time. A luncheon will follow the service at Needles Elks Lodge, 1000
Lilly Hill Dr., Needles, CA 92363.
