AURELIO REYES JR. (MACHACA)

Oct. 31, 1950 - Aug. 21, 2007


Aurelio Reyes Jr., 56, of Brawley passed away in Long Beach on Tuesday, August 21 following a lengthy illness.
He was born October 31, 1950 in Brawley and married Gloria Reyes in Las Vegas 35 years ago. Aurelio work 25 years in Los Angeles before moving to Long Beach 5 years ago. He loved being with his family and friends and will be missed by his mother, Sally Flores and his whole family.
Viewing will be held Thursday, August 30 from 4 to 8 p.m at Affordable Burial and Cremation, 6510 Cherry Ave., Long Beach, CA 90805.
Services will be held from 1 to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 31, also at Affordable Burial and Cremation.
He was preceded in death by his father, Aurelio Reyes, Sr.
Aurelio is survived by his wife, Gloria; children, Gina, Ricardo, Aurelio III, Rudy, Reyna and Rocky, all of Long Beach; mother, Sally Flores of Brawley; sister, Mary Flanders of Brawley; brother, Michael Gonzales of Brawley; 5 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and friends.

My condolences to Gloria, My Tia, Prima and the rest of the family. I am happy I got to spend time with him recently. I remembered why we all loved him so. It was the loving, sensitive primo I remember as a kid. I can picture him now....34 and in peace with God.
