BEATRICE MENESES

Sadly, our beloved mother, Beatrice Meneses, 90, of Fresno, CA, passed away on March 29, 2025, after succumbing to a stroke. She now rests in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior.

Beatrice was born on November 5, 1934, to Miguel and Catarina Garcia in Mexicali, B.C., Mexico. She was the eldest of three children and spent her youth in Mexicali and Calexico, CA. As a young woman, she moved to Calipatria, CA, where she met her husband Cesar. Beatrice was a long-time resident of Calipatria, where she lovingly raised six children. Eventually, Beatrice made her way to Brawley, CA, where she spent many years caring for her special need son, Glenn, doing a little traveling, and spending time with friends. For several years, Beatrice worked as a special education teacher aide for the Calipatria elementary school, and later, worked as an elder care provider for Imperial County.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Roberto, sister, Rosemary, eldest son, Glenn, eldest daughter, Cecilia, son-in-law, Angel, and former husband, Cesar. Beatrice is survived by her children, Herman (Tabetha) of Honolulu, HI, Rene (Rosalva) of Yorba Linda, CA, Elvia of Fresno, CA, Efrain (Jessica) of Yuma, AZ, son-in-law, Felipe of Prescott Valley, AZ, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Beatrice was a woman of faith and found strength in our Savior through prayer and the scriptures. Now, her new eternal journey has started in the loving presence of our Lord.

On Monday, April 28, 2025, her viewing will be held at Frye Chapel in Imperial, CA at 8 a.m., followed by a graveside service at Terrace Park in Holtville, CA at 11 a.m.
