BRYAN ROBBINS Obituary

BRYAN L. ROBBINS

Sept. 8, 1957 – Apr. 30, 2025

Bryan Robbins, of Temple, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025, at the age of 67. Bryan was a beloved husband, father, papa, son, and friend who touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Bryan was married for 46 years to the love of his life, Lora, with whom he shared an enduring and joyful partnership.

Together, they raised three wonderful children: Robert, Jessica, and Amy, who he said were the greatest accomplishment of his life. He was also the proud papa of nine beautiful grandchildren.

A dedicated family man, Bryan's love for his wife, children, and grandchildren was immeasurable. His family will forever remember him as the best husband, father, and papa in the world- kind-hearted, full of love, and always there with a joke or story to make you laugh. Bryan's sense of humor was legendary. He was one of a kind and known as a "fun loving humorous man." He had a knack for brightening any room he entered with his infectious hearty laugh and playful spirit. He brought joy, making difficult times easier to endure for those around him. Whether it was pulling pranks on his friends or coworkers, Bryan's sense of fun was matched only by his kindness.

Bryan was a former United States Marine and had a fulfilling career, retiring as a Correctional Lieutenant for the State of California. His commitment to his work was evident, and he earned the respect of colleagues and friends alike. But when the workday was over, he could be found doing what he loved most the casino, eating great food, or fishing with family and friends. He cherished these moments of peace and connection, and they were a source of great joy throughout his life.

Bryan is survived by his loving wife, Lora; daughters, Jessica and Amy; daughter-in-law, Vanessa; sons-in-law, Matthew and Brandon; nine grandchildren; mother, Carol; sister, Kat; brother, Steve; and many friends, not to mention his extended family, who will continue to carry his memory in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his father, brother, son, and other close family members.

Though Bryan is no longer with us, he leaves behind cherished memories of laughter to last a lifetime.

Bryan will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of living life to the fullest will never be forgotten. As the marines say, Semper Fidelis, big guy.

Bryan's celebration of life will be held on May 13, 2025, at Frye Chapel, 799 S. Brawley Ave. The viewing will be from 9 to 10 a.m., and services to follow from 10 to 11 a.m. The interment will be at 12 p.m. at Riverview Cemetery, 4700 Hovley Rd., Brawley, CA 92227.

To my beautiful neighbor, Lora and family. I am at a loss for words that can truly convey my sympathy at this time. All I am sure of is that Bryan is with Jesus in a place so fantastic we cannot even imagine, we only know it as Jesus described it... "paradise." Brad and I are so blessed to know you both. We love you.
