CHRISTINE T. CAMARGO

Christine Camargo, 73, of Westmorland went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Friday, March 4.
She was born November 25, 1937 in Brawley. She became an employee of Campesinos Unidos in 1972 and dedicated her life to helping families who came to work and live in the United States. She became vice president and then went on to be on the Board of Directors. She lived in Westmorland al of her life and was involved in Little League and PTA. Everybody knew that she loved Westmorland.
Visitation will take place Tuesday, March 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Westmorland Presbyterian Church.
Funeral Service will commence at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 9, also at Westmorland Presbyterian with Elizabeth Crews officiating. Christine will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley following the service.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joe and Gilbert Romero; ex-husband, Jesse Camargo; daughter- in-law, Angela Camargo; and her two angels at a very young age, Chris and Lillian Camargo.
Christine is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Steve) Alsip; son, Paul (Deanna) Camargo; sons, Jesse, Patrick and Gilbert Camargo; daughter, Sandra Camargo; grandchildren, Rosey, Paul Jr. and Ralphy Carmargo, Christopher Dean Garcia; sister-in-law, Isabel and Sergio Perez; brother-in-law, Julio and Norma Jauregui; sister-in-law, Charlotte Romero of Camarillo, CA; lifelong friends, Francisco and Maya Angulo and Mark Adrian; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests donations be made to Westmorland Presbyterian Church.
Christine was loved by many, especially by her family and friends.

RIP, Mrs. Camargo. Thank you so much for all that you did for my brother, Mark and all the times you drove my Mom to her Doctors appointments in San Diego when she was living in the Valley. God Bless your Family.
