CYNTHIA LEE MCLEMORE COX "PUMBA"

Cynthia Lee Cox, born in National City, California, April 15th, 1954 to Ronald Kieth McLemore and Iris Gayle Newsom, passed away Thursday, May 17 in her Spring Valley home. Cynthia was preceded in death by her loving father, Keith McLemore. Cyndi enjoyed baking and traveling with family and friends. She recently fulfilled her lifetime dream of traveling to Israel. She was a host mother to numerous foreign exchange students. She loved being active in her church and teaching second grade at Christ Community School. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Cyndi was a very loving and compassionate person who was always there for her friends and family.
A memorial service will be held this morning at 10:30 a.m. at 590 W. Orange Ave., East Sanctuary, El Centro, CA with Dennis Freeman officiating.
Cynthia is survived by sons, Eric Jason Cox and Nikolaus Allen Cox; daughters, Ashlee Lynn Mercado and Brandi Nicole Cox; grandchildren, Gage Anthony Cox, Gianna Elizabeth Cox, Aelin Jo Cox and Ethen Randall Cox; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Bill Haull; son-in-law, Eduardo Mercado and daughters-in-law, Elizabeth Marie Cox and Nikki Terese Cox. There are also numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Cynthia was a loving mother and a faithful servant to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Family is suggesting in lieu of flowers for donations to be made to Christ Community Church, 590 W. Orange Ave., El Centro, CA 92243.

I would like to thank all of you that had a special place in you hearts for my Mother. I would also like to thank all of you that have supported my family and I through this hardship. I know that my Mother is now happy.no longer in pain and sitting in heaven watching us all. Once again I would like to thank everyone for the beautiful comments and support!
