Oct. 25, 1959 – Aug. 20, 2025
Diana Marie Flores went to be with the Lord on August 20, 2025. She passed away at Pioneers Memorial Hospital in Brawley, CA. Diana had been living in Yuma, AZ for the last few years. She grew up and lived in the Imperial Valley.
Diana was a happy, strong, kind, and generous person. Diana had a strong religious faith that gave her strength during hard times and gratefulness for the happy times. She prayed the Rosary on a daily basis and gave thanks to the Lord for the blessings that the Lord bestowed upon her and upon her family! Diana proudly served in the United States Air Force.
Diana is survived by her siblings, Miguel (Yolanda deceased), Gloria (Brian), Nora Alicia (Carl), Carlos (Maricela), Norma (Chris), and Cirilo Jr. (Leticia); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services were held at Hems Brothers Mortuary in El Centro, CA, on September 30, 2025, from 6 to 9 p.m. Our most sincere thank you to Louise C. Brenes for leading the Rosary in honor of Diana. On October 1, 2025, at 9 a.m. a Holy Mass was held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel in El Centro, CA: followed by services held at Mount View Cemetery in Calexico, CA. The officiating priest was Father Ed Horning.
In honor of Diana a Military Ceremony was held, conducted by personnel from Naval Air Facility in El Centro, CA after which interment followed.
Diana's family is very thankful to Father Ed Horning and Naval Air Facility personnel El Centro, CA for the services provided to honor Diana.
Family members and friends celebrated Diana's life in their own personal way.
Until we meet again beloved Diana! You were a shining star in more ways than you will ever know! Thank you for the joy and laughter you brought! We love you Diana!
