I met Emily when my dad worked with her at IVC, and proudly display a photo she took of me from those days. She always had a smile for everyone, and I feel blessed to have seen her before she passed. She brought such light into the world, and is an example to all of us who remain.

Dear Friends and Family of Emily Giannini Schreck. We the family will be running an article with more information in the near future on the Life of Emily.
We realize the obituary was minimal and for the sake of notification we ran it. We thank you all near and far who have shared your thoughts and expressed your love. The Seitz, Schreck, Romero, Bailey and Gray families.

I love the description of my Aunt Emily as the little lady with the big camera! I was also into photography and she would always take a look at my pictures and comment about how this one could be an oil painting. LIttle did she know that today we could do that with a PhotoShop filter.
I loved Aunt Emily and will miss her a lot. I am just glad I have the sounds of her laughter on videos. She always called me her favorite nephew and I am happy to say she was my favorite Aunt.

Dear Schreck Family,
Having worked with Emily at Imperial Valley College for many years and remembering the zeal and energy with which she worked, brings a great sadness to me knowing a wonderful lady will no longer bring joy and happiness to her fellow man. Please accept my most heart-felt condolences at this time of bereavement as you reflect upon the many happy moments she brought to your lives. May God's blessings of comfort be yours at this time of loss.
Fondly,
Shirley Jones
