ENEMIRTA TREADWAY Obituary
Enemirta Coronado Treadway, passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, August 12, 2016. Known as Emily to her friends, she was born on December 30, 1935 in Los Tanques, Sonora, Mexico. Emily moved to Imperial California where she met and married Harold Treadway. Soon after their marriage they started a family and moved to Norwalk, California where they raised their family in a very loving neighborhood. The family then moved to Arkansas for a few years before returning to the Imperial Valley. Harold and Emily recently celebrated 60 years of marriage. During this time, life was enriched with numerous family traditions including birthdays, anniversaries, graduations and holidays. All who knew her remember her for her infectious smile and playful antics. Emily found strength in her Catholic faith which culminated in a trip of a lifetime to the Vatican in Rome several years ago. Known as a woman of boundless kindness, courage, devotion and faith, she inspires us all to do better. Emily was preceded in death by her parents, Miguel and Josefa Coronado; brothers, Enrique, Marcos, Miguel and Armando Coronado, and sisters, Josefa and Maria Elena Coronado. She is survived by her husband, Harold Treadway; daughters, Danise Bonillas, Caroline Jaime (Victor), Helen Dagnino (Raymond) and Martha Stevenson (James); son, David; grandchildren, David and Francisco Bonillas, Stephen and Matthew Jaime, Jennifer Kerns, Jeanette and Nathan Stevenson, Melanie Massey, Robert, Andrew and Julia Dagnino, and David Angelo Treadway; great-grandchildren, R.J., Kali, Landon, and Elizette Bonillas, and Leila, Joaquin and Olivia Jaime; sisters Josefina Coronado, Hermelinda Lopez and Antonia Coronado; brothers Luis and Manuel Coronado; numerous nephews, nieces and other family and lifelong friends. Visitation will be held at St. Antony's Catholic Church in Imperial, CA on Friday, August 19, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m with a Vigil at 6:30 p.m. and Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 8 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Internment immediately following service at Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro, CA.

Emily and her husband lived across the street from us, on 6th Street, for awhile. She was always gracious, had a big smile when she greeted you and was a very hard worker. I know her faith meant a lot to her as well as her family. I will be praying for the adjustment her passing will mean for all of you.

Carolyn, David, Helen, Martha, and to all the Treadway Family. I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. There are no words that I can say that will give you comfort during this difficult time. Emily was a wonderful, happy person. When we needed anyone from housekeeping at ECRMC, what a joy to see it was Emily. I never heard her say an unkind word about anyone, and so proud of her family. She was a hard worker that helped make a streeful job as a nurse, so much easier. Thank you Emily for your friendship, happiness and joy to the world. And to her family, may your memories stay with you always and feel her smile on a job well done.

Dearest Treadway Family,
My thoughts and Prayers go out to All of you. I remember Mrs. Treadway very well. She was a sweet and energetic Lady. My Nana and I spent many hours with her at St Anthony's decorating the Church during Christmas and many other Special Holidays. She was also a great help during the Fair when the Church had their Taco Booth there. These are very sad times that you all will be going thru right now, but please remember that she is in a Beautiful place and she will be there watching over all of you and guiding you all the time. Never forget her memories and speak of them often because that is what is going to get you through all of this.
