FELIX "WILO" MARTINEZ

1938 - 2017

Felix Martinez, 78, of Holtville passed on February 23, 2017 of congestive heart failure in Fresno, CA. He was born on March 31, 1938 in Holtville and later married Norma. He graduated from Calexico high school in 1957 and was a Football Captain All Valley and played right guard. Felix worked at Immigration and naturalization until he retired after 2000. He was preceded in death by his brother, Pasqual Martinez; sisters, Rosie Cortez, Lola Martinez; parents, Altagracia and Eduardo Martinez; nephews, Mike "Kito" Cordova and Richard E. Repaskey. Felix is survived by his sons, Alex (Amy), Danny (Juanita); grandkids, Deigo, Logan, Olivia, Trini and Matteo; sisters, Eloisa Espinosa Eduarda Martinez-Hickey; numerous nieces and nephews. Mass will be held on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 10 a.m. with Rosary being at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Calexico. Military Ceremony will immediately follow at Mt. View Cemetery in Calexico. In Lieu of flowers send donations to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church for Rectory Fund. R.I.P.
