Francisco Roman Jr., 20, of Niland passed away June 28, 2021 at Rady Children's Hospital. Francisco was born September 6, 2000 in Brawley. He was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscalar Dystrophy at the age of 5 years old. Although most of his life he was in a wheelchair that didn't stop him from enjoying life to the fullest. He was able to experience his youth school years at Bill E. Young Jr. Middle School while promoting to Calipatria High School where he graduated 2019. He enjoyed music, playing his PS4, watching basketball and wearing his Jordans. He enjoyed watching movies, YouTube Videos and hanging out with his nephews. He was a goofball with many jokes, making everyone laugh. He carried a smile that charmed anyone he encounter. Visitation will be held Friday, July 30 at 6 p.m. at Frye Chapel & Mortuary in Brawley with Rosary at 7 p.m. Graveside service will be held at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 31. Francisco is survived by his parents, Francisco Javier and Palmira Roman of Niland; sisters, Sandra Cristobal of Brawley, Britney Moreno of Brawley, and Juanita Anahi Roman Iniguez of Mexicali, BC; nephews, Ereck Jimenez and Jaime Jimenez, both of Brawley; and grandmother, Jesus Moreno of Brawley.
