FREDRICK CORONA Obituary

FREDRICK J. CORONA

July 4, 1964 – June 29, 2025

Fredrick J. Corona was born at Pioneers Memorial Hospital in Brawley, California, on July 4, 1964. He attended grade school at Myron D. Witter Elementary and Barbara Worth Junior High. He graduated from Brawley High School in 1984, where he played tight end for the Wildcat football team, cherishing the victory in the annual Bell Game against the rival Central Spartans his Senior year. Freddy was an athlete, a proud Brawley Wildcat, and was loved by all his grade school and high school friends. He had a passion for fishing, was a dedicated sports fan, a wonderful uncle, and around Christmas time, he enjoyed playing Santa Claus for his nieces.

In 1994, he moved to San Diego and enjoyed working for the University of California, San Diego. In 2011, Freddy moved to Seminole, Oklahoma, where he worked for Oklahoma Custom Coating and became known as a friendly and well-loved member of the community.

Freddy passed away on June 29, 2025.

He is survived by two siblings, Monica Adeline Patty and Joe Anthony Corona, and four children, Bella, Mariah, Elijah and Joshua Corona. He was preceded in death by his eldest daughter, Lena Corona, his mother, Lena Martinez Corona, and his father, Frederick Henry "Buddy" Corona.
