To The Family of George Casillas,
Heaven has gained a pleasant, always smiling individual while Earth has lost him.
George was a wonderful person and I will miss seeing him at the San Diego Reunion Picnic.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family and Ralph, his brother.

How nice to remember a true gentleman who remains a long treasured memory. In 1966 I had many pleasant conversations with George as he performed intricate watch repairs and adjustments in the back of Smitty's store on Main Street. I am so very glad to have had that chance and would like to extend my condolences to the family of this remarkable man.

Caroline, Lisa, Scott, and Steven, I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Casillas passing. It is always difficult to lose someone that we hold so dear to our hearts, especially so close to the Holidays. I hope that the happy times you shared will help ease your pain. I will always remember and appreciate Mr. Casillas for his caring ways he showed towards his Womens traveling softball team, Georges Diamond Runners. Honored to have been a part of THE TEAM. RIP George. Bless you all. Martha Alcantar (Catcher)

I am so sorry to hear about George's passing. My sympathies go out to all the family and friends. Growing up I too attended Mulberry School and spent summers at his parents house cooking with Evelyn (Bella) and his mom for dinner at their house. Guess we did ok because everyone ate all our food. I will miss seeing George around.
