JAMES BEACH Obituary
Jim was born in Glendale, California. He was mostly raised in Imperial and Brawley. He graduated from BUHS in 1962. He married his high school love, Betty Crowson in 1963. He went to work for Winn Supply Co. in El Centro. They moved to Imperial to raise their two boys, Imperial Tigers, Jim (Elda) Ledera Ranch and Robert (Michele) of El Centro. Winn Supply was bought out by Kaman Tech. where he was employed for about 38 years. Jim was an avid fisherman having owned 48 boats throughout his 53 years of marriage to Betty. He also loved to hunt and was part of a fishing club. He also belonged to the El Centro JayC's, Imperial Lions, El Centro Moose Lodge, Imperial Quarterback Club and the Imperial PTA. He loved to fish out of Puerto Citas with his step-father. He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen Beach and Joy Morgan and step-father Max Beach. He is survived by his brothers, Bob (Sandy) Beach of Brawley, Rodney Morgan of Texas; sister, Cheryl Beach of El Cajon and Rhonda (Larry) Duke of Midland, Texas. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 4 great-granddaughters and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He will be missed by many and will never be forgotten. There will be a celebration of life at the El Centro Elk's Lodge on State St. on Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 1 to 5 p.m.

i have fond memories of him tormenting me when i came to visit him.example:always pulling bobbypins out of my hair. when he was working he would always call me to let me hear the song "smoke gets in your eyes". it was my favorite song.when i hear it ,it brings back memories

Still fresh in my memory and miss you everyday. When ever I see a KIA I think of when you just got out of the hospital and still out of it. Told us Jim had a KIA refrigerator he really liked to drive. Love you ans miss you.
