JEANNINE GONZALES
Sept. 6, 1983 - June 1, 2010
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 6 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Hems Brothers Mortuary in El Centro for Jeannine Gonzales who passed away at home in Imperial on Tuesday, June 1 following a lengthy illness. She was 26 years of age.
Mass will commence at 10 a.m., Monday, June 7 at St. Anthony's Church, 210 W. 7th St., in Imperial with Father David Serreno officiating. She will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro.
Jeannine was born September 6, 1983 in Brawley. She attended elementary schools and high school in Imperial, before beginning her collegiate education. Jeannine went on to attend Imperial Valley College and San Diego City College, and San Diego State University. While continuing her education she was employed within the colleges she attended including San Diego Office of Education, and most recently with Imperial Unified School District.
Jeannine had a love for music and was passionate about it. She played the bass guitar and was a member of a band "High Heels". Jeannine also loved playing with her dog Devo, and loved spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Norman Bradshaw.
Jeannine is survived by her loving parents, Norma Bradshaw of Imperial and Richard Gonzales of El Centro; grandparents, Maria Bradshaw of Imperial and Celia Gonzales of El Centro; aunt Martina Bradshaw of Imperial; nephews, Christian and Brian Bradshaw; uncles and aunts, Gerardo Muro of Mexicali and Monte (Esmeralda) Bradshaw of Calexico, Art Jr. of Kensington, CA, Mario Gonzales of Del Sero, CA, Teresa Aguilar and Chris Gonzales, both of El Centro, Roy Gonzales of San Diego, CA, and Sally Gonzales of La Jolla, CA; and numerous relatives, nieces and nephews.

I would like to thank everyone for your prayers, thoughts and kind messages. This is a very difficult time for me. The loss of my daughter has devastated me and my family. I miss her so much. She was my life.

I'm brokenhearted without Nini around us in person but i know she has been around in spirit. Im here for you every day and I know its hard with her gone. Thank you for everyone for the support you have given us in many ways we all appreciate it immensely. We are all deeply saddened and miss Jeannine very much and want her legacy to live on forever. Jeannine had a huge heart and loved everyone around her. Im her aunt Martina Im grateful for everyone who help make her memorial special love you all. Miss you Nini.

Nina, I cannot express to you how sad I am regarding Jeannine's passing. She was a beautiful girl inside and out. Our families have shared many fond memories throughout the years and I will cherish them always. My most fond memory will be when I got to be with you at the hospital when Jeannine was born. She will always be on my mind and in my heart. I love you guys!

Jeannine was my classmate at Imperial High. We graduated together in 2001. I have nothing but good memories of her wonderful smile and bright personality! She will definitely be missed.
