Jimmy...Santiago...My husband...My Honey...My Everything...God Blessed me with 30 years with you...It was a beautiful life...I mostly loved the way you always made me feel the one and only...I am so glad we had such a peaceful life with our three children...My heart is torn...But comfort comes to my heart knowing that you were the boss at home...Everything was "your way"..Many times you didn't have it your way in the real world, but at home, you always did. I am thankful for our last long phone conversation only a couple of hours before the end. You sounded so happy and peaceful. I love you....You will be in my heart as I continue living my life "your way".

God Bless Mr. Arevalo who is now resting in peace, and his loving/beautiful family he left behind. He was such an amazing, caring, helpful, wonderful human being.. He was my 6th grade teacher 15 yrs ago. I cannot begin to say how much myself along with the other students, learned from him. One of the very few teachers who really made an impact in my life. You will never be forgotten Mr. Arevalo. You continue to live in our hearts and minds. God Bless you Sir.

Mr. Arevalo: you will be greatly missed by all the students that passed by your classroom. I was one of them, I was your student from 1979-1981. I enjoyed and learned a lot from you, I will never forget how pasionate you were, when teaching class, our little tournaments against Mr. Pesqueria's class.

Mr. Arevalo, I still can't believe this is happening, I'm extremely saddened with the news as I read over and over the paper..I want to thank you for teaching me just how great of a person you were, how you would bright up the room in your class and give me advice with school.. You would always find a way to make me smile... It was a pleasure being your assistant during the 2011 year it was one of the most wonderful and enjoyable years of my life... Blessings to your wife and family you will be truly missed....

This is such sad news. Mr Arevalo was an impecable man, a hard working person, an honorable veteran and a great coworker. He would talk marvels about his family. His wife, kids and parents were his pride. He was always supportive with me during my first years of teaching. Mr. Arevalo was always happy and worried to help a friend. As a summer school principal, he was very capable and fun to work with. He will be missed so much by teachers and studnets. I remember, once he had a huge fish tank in his class with various colorful fish "to help the students relax and focus' he would say. He would go his way out to make his class enjoyable. May God have you in Glory 'companero'. My most sincere condolescences to the family. Ms. C. Ramirez

Well I was just told this sad news by my mom who is also a Dool School Employee and who is very affected and emotional for the loss of a very important teacher whom she has known and worked with for more than 30yrs. And i would have to say that me and my sister had the honor to have Mr. Arevalo as our 5th grade teacher 20yrs ago. I can still remember being in his class and making rockets and kites as projects. Also on Doolmungus he was the fastes runner and would always win the teacher running races. Im soo sad because me, my mom and my daughter wanted him to be my daughters 5th grade teacher and she was soo much looking forward to it. I still remember how happy my daughter was when she told me that no one wanted to help her get her ball down when it got stuck way up high on a tree... But Mr. Arevalo went out of his way to help her get her ball down this school year. Mr. Arevalo always went out of his way to helped anyone who needed help. I will miss him and he is a teacher who will always be remembered by those of us who again had the honor to have him as a teacher. My sympathy and prayers are with his wife and family. GOD Bless you Mr. Arevalo.
