JUNE BRAND Obituary

June C. Brand was called home and met her Lord on Saturday evening, April 13, 2024, in El Centro, CA, after a short illness. June was born to Andy and Edna Robison in Imperial in 1934, where she spent a majority of her life. June attended Lincoln Elementary School and Imperial High School in Imperial. She married Mack Brand, also of Imperial and they had three daughters, Diane Brand of Imperial, Connie Leamons (Jerry) of Sacramento, and Rita Novak (Jerry) also of Imperial. They had one son, Ronald Brand (Carol) of Pine, AZ.
Mrs. Brand worked as the librarian at San Pasqual Unified School District in Winterhaven, CA. She was a proud member of the Cherokee Nation and attended many Cherokee gatherings in San Diego and Sacramento. In her later years, June spent her summers rocking on the porch and enjoying the wildlife with her son and daughter-in-law in Northern Arizona, her winters in her home in Imperial, game nights watching her grandchildren, and Sundays at Faith Assembly of God Church in Imperial, where she was a lifetime member. Her favorite place was with her family, wherever that they may gather. June loved quilting, reading, her daily devotions, Christian music, her church group, and shopping with her girls.
June is survived by her four children, her brothers, Gene Robison, Andy Leroy Robison, and Willard Robison; and sister, Linda Floyd; sister-in-law and life time friend, Joann Yates; and her brother-in-law, Charles Brand. She left a legacy with her grandchildren, Andy Munger, Joey Munger, Jamie (Brand) Alvarez, Stacey Brand, Ryan Brand, Crista Leamons, Matt Leamons, Shelby Novak, and Ethan Novak. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. June was preceded in death by her brother, Monroe Robison; sister, Gladys Fox; her husband, Mack Brand; and her parents.
Graveside services will be held at 9 am on May 2, 2024, at Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro, CA.
