LUCILLE CARTWRIGHT Obituary

Lucille Cartwright was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on May 3, 1926 and left this world on July 7, 2017. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and John Livermore of Yucca Valley; sisters, Nancy Rivera and Georgia Espinoza of Calexico; sister-in-law, Virginia Frazier of Heber; grandchildren, Larry Yocham of Yucca Valley, Donna Stewart of Corona, Aliesha Livermore of Arizona, Paul Livermore of Saudi Arabia, Missy Dupuis of Yucca Valley and Michael Robinson of San Diego; step grandchild, Lenny Dupuis of Joshua Tree; great-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon "Bill" Cartwright; parents, Ira and Nora Frazier; daughters, Terrie Cartwright Robinson and Susan Frances Cartwright and brother, Eugene Frazier. Her family moved from Oklahoma during the Dust Bowl to Calexico, where she eventually met her husband Bill Cartwright, during World War II. They lived in Calexico for many years, raising their two daughters, then on to Whittier to pursue other opportunities. After Bill died, she followed her daughters to Yucca Valley, where she spent the rest of her life. My mother was full of spunk. Once her mind was made up, there was no room for argument. She was a beautiful lady who loved her family fiercely. She will be missed everyday for the rest of my life.

Gloria and family-I am so sorry to learn of the loss of your Mom but thankful you were able to be so physically close to her. She was a beautiful woman and I hope the happy memories of your times together will feel like hugs from her.
