Luis Moreno, 63, of Brawley passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021 following a battle with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He was born June 21, 1958 in Culiacan, Sinaloa and graduated from Brawley Union High School, class of 1977. He attended San Bernardino College and lived many years in the Inland Empire area. He worked in the accounting and banking area until finding his passion in landscaping. He enjoyed his time outdoors, planting and gardening. Visitation for Luis will take place Sunday, August 1 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Frye Chapel & Mortuary in Brawley. Rosary will be said at 4 p.m. Graveside service will be at 9 a.m. Monday, August 2 at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley. He was preceded in death by his father, Isaul Moreno. Luis is survived by his mother, Jesus Moreno of Brawley; common law wife, Gaby Fletes of Brawley; daughter, Stephanie Renee Cook of Pasadena, Maryland; granddaughter, Marianna Grace Cook of Pasadena, Maryland; sisters, Carmen Perez (Ralph) of San Bernardino, Palmira Roman (Francisco) of Niland, Gloria (Jose) Cruz of Puerto Rico, Sylvia Redondo (Valente) of Brawley, and Jessie Graham (Matthew) of Mission Viejo, CA; brothers, Arthur Moreno of Culiacan, Sinaloa, and Saul Moreno (Nora) of Aliso Viejo, CA.
