MANUEL "MANNY"
DE LA CRUZ
Apr. 24, 1953 - Mar. 6, 2009
Manuel De La Cruz, 55, of Salt Lake City, UT passed away as the result of an aneurysm Friday, March 6 in Utah.
He was born April 24, 1953 in El Centro and later married Martha De La Cruz in 1980. Manny's greatest passion was music.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 19 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Hems Brothers Mortuary in El Centro with rosary being said at 7 p.m.
Mass will commence at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 20 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in El Centro. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his father, Nazario "Richie" De La Cruz; brother, Roberto "Chino" De La Cruz and his dog, Harley.
Manuel is survived by his wife, Martha; children, Angel, Manny, Crystal, Jesus, all of Salt Lake City, UT, Manuel Jr. and Rosie of San Diego; mother, Concha Nieblas; brothers and sisters, Armando De La Cruz of Denver, CO, Mary Martin del Campo and Estella Diaz, both of El Centro, Esther Martinez of Imperial, Alberto, Richard, Jesse, Maria and Judy; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
