MARIA ARCELIA FELIX

Maria Felix, 66, of Calexico passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014.
She was born August 10, 1948 in Borboyon, Nayarit, Mexico. In 1956 she moved to Mexicali, B.C. Mexico. She attended Escuela de Academia Despertino Estado 29. She married Gontran L. Felix and moved to Heber, CA in 1973. She was in a Business Woman and was Owner of Bel-Air Hair Salon and Flames Street Wear for 15 years.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 27 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Frye Chapel and Mortuary in Brawley. Graveside service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 28 at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley.
Maria is survived by her sons, Gontran R. (Mariselda Esquer) Felix Jr. of Calexico, CA and Edward R. (Hilda) Felix of El Centro, CA; daughter, Linda Felix (Noe) Medrano of Sacramento, CA; grandchildren, Iza Felix, Isaace E. Felix, Andrew J. Felix, Martin T. Burke, Bryan Felix and Eva P. Medrano; siblings, Andres R. Barrera, Bertha R. Barrera, Jorge R. Barrera, Maria Elena R. Barrera, and Nora Patricia R. Barrera.
