Mary Mason Valencia, 88, of Gilbert, AZ passed away on December 24, 2021 of natural causes.
Mary was a loving wife, mother, and matriarch to many in the Imperial Valley and Mexicali. She was born and lived in the Imperial Valley her entire life, attended Imperial Valley School's and graduated from Central Union High School in 1951. She married, Ed Valencia Jr. on July 22, 1952 and fulfilling her life by raising six loving children and managing the family business.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Ed Valencia Jr.; sons, James Edmond Valencia and Richard Albert Valencia; brother, Domitilo Mazon; and sister, Theresa Pinuelas.
She is survived by her daughters and sons in law, Irma and Randy Rister of Durango, CO and Debra and Roland Fisher of Murrieta, CA; sons and daughters in law, Arthur and Madonna Valencia of Visalia, CA and Michael and Ronda Valencia of Gilbert, AZ; brother, Louie Mason of Tucson, AZ; sisters, Lolli Gallegos of El Centro, CA, Berta Pinuelas of El Centro, CA, Estella Mazon of San Diego, CA, Maryann Walker of San Diego, CA and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Mass service will be held on Febuary 4, 2022 at 11 am at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in El Centro. Officated by Deacon Domingo Enriquez. Burial to follow at 12 pm at Evergreen Cemetery.
In remembrance of her a Celebration of Life will be held following the interment at Saint Mary's Catholic Church Parrish Hall.
