RAMON (MONCHI) TERAN
Sept. 30, 1942-Sept. 15, 2010
Ramon (Monchi) Teran 67 of Calexico went to be with the Lord on September 15, 2010.
He was born on September 30, 1942 in Rayon Sonora, Mexico. Ramon worked for Cattelmen's Feed and Milling in Calexico for many years, he retired in 1985 and spend the next few years helping raise his grandchildren. He enjoyed waking up before sunrise to work in the yard and drive his grandchildren to school. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Ramon was preceded in death by his mother Elvira Pacheco on the day he was born; his Father Ramon Teran and the beautiful mother who raised him Delfina Pacheco.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hems Mortuary in Calexico. Services will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Our lady of Guadalupe in Calexico. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in Calexico.
Ramon is survived by his wife of 43 years Elvia Teran; daughter Griselda Teran-Trujillo of Los Angeles, Martha Teran of Calexico; daughter and son-in-law Elvira and Mac Gonzalez of Calexico, son and daughter-in-law Ramon and Fatima Teran of Indio; daughter and son-in-law Claudia and David Hernandez of Indio and daughter and son-in-law Elvia and Jorge Cordero of Indio; grandchildren, Monique and Liana Trujillo, Jesse Gerardo II, Sasha, Jonathan, Clarissa and Dayanara Gonzalez, Brandon, Andrassy, Jason, Aleksei Teran, David Hernandez Jr, Joshua and Jasmin Cordero; great- grandchildren Damian and Isaac Echeverria; brother and sister-in-law Arnoldo and Julie Teran of Los Angeles; sister Alicia Teran of Los Angeles; extended family, Marquez, Monroy, Garcia and Rivera.
