Uncle Ray, It is hard to believe 10 years have passed since you were called to your eternal journey. Thank you for opening your home to me and the memories made when I was stationed in California so many years ago. I know the good Lord is holding you gently in the palms of his hands.

Hard to believe it has been around 9 years since you were reunited with all of our family members that have been called to rest with Christ. Have wonderful memories during my Navy days spending time with family. Uncle Ray and Aunt Margie and my cousins. I think the Sweeney family has a huge presents in Heaven. I remember each of you in my prayers always. RIP Uncle Ray

My family has you all in our prayers. Uncle Ray has experienced his reunion with Aunt Margie and the entire gang. We need his heavenly cheering for the Huskers. God Bless him and all of you. My memories are few, but all very special. He and Margie treated Marsha and I very special during our visit years back. We treasure that time as we got to know the entire Christensen Family well. God Bless you all as you celebrate Uncle Ray's life and legacy.

All my childhood memories revolve around the holidays in El Centro and how special Grandpa and Grandma made us all feel. When we were young we learned not to disturb Gramps while the Rams where playing... when we were older and got our love of football from him we were able to sit in the living room and enjoy the games with him. I know Grandma, My Father (Buddy), Aunt Peggy, Amanda and all the other dearly departed members of our family were waiting for you with open arms. We can all add one more guardian angel to our lives. I love you Gramps!

Gramps...I will never forget all the Thanksgivings and New Years Days we spent watching football...I Will always remember the whooping Nebraska put on Spurrier and the Florida Gators at your house and how happy those big wins made all of us feel. Looking forward to having you watching over our teams: Angels, Rams, Lakers and Cornhuskers for years to come... You will always be in my thoughts!!!

Grandpa I will miss you. You taught me what hard work and being a die hard fan was all about. It was always a treat to watch games with you. I am glad you got the chance to get to know my kids and Michele.

Grandpa taught me what hard work and being a die hard fan was all about. His house was always the place I went to watch games, drink pepsi and, when Grandma was alive, play cards. Thanks Grandpa I will miss you.

I always think of Mom lighing a candle at church for a special request. Dad this candle is for you and I know it will light the way to Mom, the person in the world who knew you and loved you the most.

Sending prayers and thoughts from Omaha. We looked so forward to his summer visits (even though we watched a lot of baseball). It was always a party when he came back. Lots of great memories we have.

Some of my fondest memories when I was in the Navy are the times I was able to visit your home in El Centro. Uncle Ray and Aunt Margie were always so good to me. As was the rest of your family. Your Dad and Mom will live on through you and their grandchildren. Now your father rest alongside your mother, and the rest of your family that has been called home.

My dad was always so proud of the time he worked for Danenburg. He use to tease that every time he had one building done Danny would invent another one to build. Thank you.

My condolences to all of Ray's family. I went to junior high and high school with Buddy and Dorothy (many years ago!). Ray was a brick layer by trade and he helped build many of the barracks and shed facilities of my uncle's property on Danenberg Road. I was a "go-fer" on some of the projects. Ray had a very dry sense of humor and as a kid I usually didn't "get it." Ray was an honest, hard working man and he loved his family. May he rest in peace.
